MG Taylor’s objective is to maintain the smallest footprint possible while sustaining the capability demanded by its mission and to be mission-focused and financially viable. Our policy is to incubate new products and services, related to our IP, and bring them to market through proof-of-concept which includes demonstration of financial viability. Then, as these find markets, to partner with other organizations to take them to scale.

MG Taylor is a virtual organization with a staff of 12 people. Income ranges between two and ten million dollars in any given year. MG Taylor has an active network of 75 knowledge-workers, craft-persons, builders and engineers who work with us on a regular basis to execute various projects. This core group has formed creative work relationships that go back, in many cases, 10, 20 and 30 years.

To be consistent with its mission, MG Taylor has sought, from its inception, a new organizational form based on network theory and practices. This quest has expressed itself in several iterations of organizational change. The goal, which we believe we are approaching, is to be an active member of a full service ValueWeb that not only provides products and services supportive of innovative and collaborative work but also exemplifies these values in all of our organizational forms and practices.
